The Renaissance-style St Peter’s Basilica is one of largest churches in the world. Over its 120-year-long construction many top architects (including Michelangelo and Raphael) added personal flourishes. Michelangelo, for instance, added the dome – to this day the biggest in the world!

INSTRUCTIONS
  • You will receive your e-tickets via email
  • Go to the meeting point (as pictured on the ticket). A representative will be wearing a blue tie and holding a blue umbrella
  • Show them your smartphone ticket
  • Don’t be late! Access to the Basilica is timed, so all visitors must arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the stated time; visitors arriving late can’t be accommodated, and tickets are non-refundable

  • Knees and shoulders must be covered
  • Low cut or sleeveless tops or shorts aren’t allowed
  • There’s a mandatory, airport-style security check
